Hi, there! How are you?

I’m going to tell you what the children of P3 from L’Agulla did during the second term.

As you can remember, the first term they were working the colours (blue, yellow, red and purple), so this term we have finished the rest of the colours. We started with the second part of the song I see something blue by Super Simple Songs: I see something pink. Watch it!

Then, they had a paper with some pictures and they had to paint them with the colour the teacher asked.

When they had the paper of the pink pictures, there appeared a flamingo. They explained me that they didn’t know how this animal was, so I put them this video:

They enjoyed so much trying to stand like a flamingo! Look!

After that, we told a story. It was the story of Pete the cat, I love my white shoes by Eric Litwin. In this, there is a cat that loves his shoes, but he always steps into different kind of things that make his shoes change their colour. But Pete never cries, everything is good to him. The moral is (taken by the story book):

No matter what you step in, just keep walking along and singing your song because it’s all good.

The children loved this story! And we did a lot of different activities related to it.

They also made a fantastic origami “Pete, the cat”!

They even created their own Pete with their hands!

They are amazing artists! Don’t you think?

To finish this story, we watched this short video about the story of Pete, the cat.

Before leaving for Easter holidays, we started the topic we will work this term… Here I attach a video of a very popular song, let’s see if you have any idea about what it is going to be…

See you soon. Have a nice time!

Monica
