We want to introduce you our pets. “Which pets?” – you will ask.
Well, the groups of 1st and 2nd grade (also other groups) have their own pets. They decided their names and they know that they must have a very good behaviour if they want to take them home.
With the pet, we give them a notebook where they have to explain what they have done with it: they can stick some pictures or do any drawing about their experience together. They can also write any story or anecdote. Then, when they come back to class, they can show their “album” to their classmates and tell them everything they want related to the pet and him or her. Apart from the pet and the notebook, the children receive something to work at home, like a storybook they have listened to in class, a poem they have to learn, a song they have to sing to their parents… Something which they have to use the language with.
Starting with 1st graders, we have three groups, so we have three pets:
Regarding the 2nd graders, there are also three groups with their three pets.
Now that you know our pets, I hope you could have them at home very soon and encourage your children to work on it and take profit of the opportunity of having the pet bag.
