Hello, families! How are you?

I’m going to tell you what the students of 1st and 2nd grade have been doing this December related to Christmas.

They started watching the old Disney film of Rudolph the red-nose reindeer. We wanted to watch the most modern one, but it was too long. But if you want to watch it at home, click here.

This film was very useful to understand the story of Rudolph. And why did they need to know it? Apart from its general culture, because they were going to sing its song to show it to you! And it would be easier to them if they knew the meaning of the lyrics!

But, before starting with the Rudolph costumes, they created their own snowman making like a paper puzzle where they had to dress them up. Look at them!

After that, we began the practise of the song, learning the lyrics and the gestures and they also created their own costume. They made a kind of crown with cardboard, where they had to add the horns, the eyes and, of course, the red nose.

Finally, they performed the song! 🙂

At the end of the class, they received the first Santa Claus presents! Their grades and their new folders!

I hope you are having a good Christmas time!

Monica.
